Advanced Study of Air Mobility students take advantage of travel time to work on Graduate Research Projects

TOKYO, Japan – Immediately after landing in Tokyo, Maj. Shanon Anderson and Maj. Joseph Whittington, students in the Advanced Study of Air Mobility course offered at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, are among several of the students taking advantage of free time to continue working on their Graduate Research Projects, May 10. Including a previous three-day stop in Korea, the visit to Japan and a follow-on stop in Hawaii were all a part of the site visit portion of the ASAM course curriculum. JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J.-- The painting titled "He Ain't Heavy," by Mr. John Witt of the Society of Illustrators, is displayed at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary during the society's visit here, May 19. The painting includes Staff Sgt. Phillip Peterkins and Staff Sgt. Kyle Miller, of the 421st Combat Tactics Squadron, and was created using photos and sketches taken by Witt during a an early visit in November 2011.
