US Air Force and Costa Rican SVA Achieve Key Firsts During Joint Training Mission
SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (February 2026) – SVA Director Capt. Javier Moreira, U.S. Embassy Senior Defense Official Cmdr. Estevan Olivera, and 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron (MSAS) Mission Commander Maj. Abror Samatov stand with U.S. Air Advisor instructors and Costa Rican Servicio de Vigilancia Aérea (SVA) personnel during the graduation ceremony concluding a Mobile Training Team engagement. The training enhanced flight operations and maintenance, airborne ISR integration, airdrop capability, and operational readiness, strengthening bilateral interoperability in support of U.S. Southern Command objectives.
