Students receive hands-on training before deploying as air advisors
Students perform a push out during the high threat driving portion of the Air Advisor course taught at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School in the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, April 23, 2019. This driving technique allows personnel to get out of trouble and push another vehicle out of the way. The Air Advisor course is designed to prepare personnel selected to become advisors in a deployed environment. Students attending the course are taught multiple lessons such as force protection, high threat driving, region specific operations, language and tactical combat casualty care.
