Chief Master Sergeant Kevin N. Robertson Jr.

Chief Master Sergeant Kevin N. Robertson Jr. is the Special Assistant to the Inspector General, 27th Special Operations Wing, Cannon Air Force Base (AFB), New Mexico. He supports the Wing Inspector General in executing the Commander's Inspection Program, ensuring the readiness and compliance of 5,000 Total Force Airmen and 115 aircraft, valued at $5.2B. Additionally, he advises on the wing's complaints and inquiries program, assisting in investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse.


Chief Robertson entered the Air Force in August 2000 and graduated from Helicopter Maintenance Apprentice School in March 2001. Chief Robertson served as a rotary-wing maintainer for 23 years, in multiple roles as an HH-60(G) Flying Crew Chief, MI-17 Combat Air Advisor, CV-22(B) Lead Production Superintendent, Quality Assurance Superintendent, NSAv Operations Superintendent, Squadron and Group Senior Enlisted Leader, and Joint Task Force Senior Enlisted Leader. He has advised planning, execution, and command and control of various operations, activities, and investments across Middle East, European, African, and Indo-Pacific theatres. Prior to his current position, Chief Robertson was the Joint Task Force Senior Enlisted Leader, Detachment 1, 27th Special Operations Wing, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. Chief Robertson has completed eleven deployments supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, and several named operations in between.
